Patagonia will be participating with the Bike to Work Week, May 11 - 15. We have a committee in place for this event. If you are interested in participating please contact me. I ride from East Ventura (intersection of Kimball and Telegraph). If you are interested in commuting via bicycle and need help with your bike or need an escort, I'd be willing to help you with that. I log about 6000 miles a year cycling (sport/commute mileage). I know the Ventura routes well. Patagonia will also hold a raffle at the end of the week. I have already secured some cool raffle items. WTB will donate tires and saddles, GU will donate food, Dahon is planning to donate a folding bike, Honest Tea will supply cases of Honest Tea, Trek Bikes plans to supply bottles and other stuff. It'll be fun. You must commute using alternative means though to participate. Run, bike, swim, paddle - whatever.. No automobiles.. cheers.
