Somerset County, New Jersey has announced that they will be extending their bike to work week to become bike to work month, from May 4 to May 29, 2009. In addition, they are having prizes and rewards for:

• Most creative commute - Awarded to the cyclist(s) who best combines biking with transit, carpooling or vanpooling during Bike to Work Week.
• Individual longest commute - Awarded to the cyclist(s) who commutes the greatest one-way distance by bicycle during Bike to Work Week.
• Most miles biked overall- Awarded to the cyclist(s) who commutes the most miles by bicycle during Bike to Work Week.
• Most trips biked - Awarded to the cyclist(s) who commutes the most trips by bike during Bike to Work Week.
