May 31 - June 6 is Tahoe Bike Week

The 2010 Bike to Work, School, Play (B2WSP) Week and Challenge has changed dates to later in the spring. The move is designed to encourage more participation among cyclists, businesses and schools -- while also building excitement about cycling throughout the summer. Now branded as Tahoe Bike Week, the B2WSP Week will be followed by a bike festival on Saturday and on Sunday by the America’s Most Beautiful Bike Ride.

The festival will add a celebratory atmosphere to everyone’s weeklong cycling accomplishments and provide informative programs and fun-filled activities for the entire family/friends to learn more about cycling and related ”green” products and services. The event will also serve as an ideal setting for the Tahoe cycling and business community to welcome our cycling visitors, from throughout the country, who will be here to enjoy Tahoe and ride around the Lake on Sunday.
