The LMVB (Lower Merrimack Valley Bicyclist) supports the communities of Amesbury, Groveland, Haverhill, Merrimac, Newbury, Newburyport, Salisbury, and West Newbury in Massachusetts, based in the Lower part of the Merrimack River Valley. LMVB provides education on bicycling skills and safety as well as various consulting services in the field of bicycle facilities and are already working with three of these communities on a plan to host a bike to work and school week in the spring of 2009. Likely to coincide with the US National bike to work week, but is not yet confirmed.
